17 MONTHS

Macallum is 17 months old - in this photograph he is pleading and screaming at me. I told him he was not allowed to run straight into the Lake. Mean mama, I know. One day he will thank me for this. Gotta love the pure toddler emotion.

In the last month he.............

• learnt how to climb onto the bed, couch, table, highchair, computer desk and into the dishwasher.
• stepped down a single step without holding onto anything.
• does the leaping frog action for the leapfrog game.
• deliberately throws a ball to you.
• points to body parts on demand.
• signing "more" "bottle" and "up" the only signs I taught him 6 months ago.
• learnt to say cheese, lights and shhh.
• went boating on Loch Lomond and biking on Angel Island.
• had an awesome 4th of July day with his whanau.
• and a lovely night with his cousins and Uncle.
• stayed with Kenny and Cory with Mummy while their parents were away.
• learnt to hit people in the face and throw heavy objects at them too.
